Man robbed in Towson Town Center bathroom

A man was robbed at knifepoint in a bathroom off the food court in Towson Town Center just after 4 p.m. Friday, Baltimore County Police report.

According to police, the man was in the bathroom when two other men pulled a knife and demanded the man's money and his cellphone. The man gave the robbers the items and the robbers fled, police said.

The man then chased the robbers through the food court and subsequently grabbed one of the robbers and pinned him against the wall outside the Call it Spring store, police said.

A plainclothes security guard responded to help the man when the second robber came up to help the first robber. There was a struggle and one of the robbers pulled a gun and the two robbers fled, exiting near the Littman jewelry store, according to police.

The victim was not injured, police said.

The robbers are described as black males, aged 18 to 20 years old, with medium builds. One was wearing a black baseball cap on backwards and a black Polo jacket with polo horse insignia. The other was wearing a black leather jacket, dark jeans and dark hoodie. Anyone with information should call police at 410-307-2020.
