In a statement, Meyer-Lee said she is “delighted” to be joining Goucher College and working to refine the “Goucher Commons” curriculum, a program that includes first-year seminars and other experiences like studying abroad demonstrations of proficiency in writing, data analytics and foreign languages.

“We are looking forward to [Meyer-Lee] joining the Goucher community in an academic leadership role as we strengthen our commitment to global education, social justice, and innovation,” Goucher President Kent Devereaux said in a statement.
