The suspect in a Philadelphia abduction case has been transported from Towson to Virginia, Baltimore County police said Friday.
Delvin Barnes, 37, was initially held at the Baltimore County Detention after he was found with kidnapping victim Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, 22, on Wednesday in Jessup. He was wanted in Virginia for a separate kidnapping case that involved a 16-year-old girl, and is facing charges that include attempted capital murder, rape and abduction.
County officials say Barnes was released to the Charles City Sheriff's Department late Thursday evening.
