A bomb threat made on a Lutherville pharmacy Monday afternoon was a hoax, according to Baltimore County police.
The bomb threat was called in to the Rite Aid Pharmacy at 1411 York Road, in Lutherville, at around 2 p.m., according to Baltimore County Police Public Information Specialist Natalie Litofsky.
Because of the threat, police evacuated the Rite Aid and adjacent businesses, she said.
"Ultimately, it turned out to be nothing," Litofsky said.
Police declared the scene safe at 3:39 p.m.
Information on the nature of the call and how many units responded was not immediately available.
