Giving thanks for good health, good friends and good cheer [Perry Hall]

From the Perry Hall/Kingsville Thanksgiving column last year: "During this reflective season, let us count our personal blessings and give thanks individually. Also, we join together as a group and share our gratitude for many community blessings."

This year, however, one blessing tops our Perry Hall/Kingsville list of things for which we are so extremely thankful – the continuing recovery of Perry Hall High School shooting victim and, most importantly, survivor Daniel Borowy. The Prayers for Daniel Borowy Facebook page is remains active and the following are recent November sentiments from Daniel's mom, Rosemary Kehl-Borowy.

"I am so grateful and blessed also that so many people came together to pray for my son. The power of prayer is awesome and it is hard for me to put into words what it has done for my family. I love posting pictures of Daniel to show the world how Gods love shines through him. Our God is a wonderful God, he shows us every day and I am eternally grateful that he showed us a miracle through Daniel," his mother wrote.

Daniel attended the Perry Hall Allied Soccer Banquet this year, too, and that elicited this comment from his mother: "So happy that Daniel was back on the field with his friends. Brought tears to my eyes (again), proving once again that you can't keep a good man down."
