The charges follow the arrest of Artis McDaniel III, 19, of the same address, in late July. Artis McDaniel is also being charged with first-degree murder in connection with Knefel’s death.

Police found Knefel lying on the sidewalk after 10 p.m., covered with a sheet that concealed several gunshot wounds to his upper body, according to police reports. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

Police say that two individuals argued with Knefel at a parking lot where Knefel was found in the unit block of Richmar Road. During the argument, police say a suspect shot the victim, and continued shooting after Knefel fell to the ground.

The suspect then fled the scene in a black Acura, according to witness testimony in police records.

Artis McDaniel is listed as the owner of the black Acura that was seen fleeing the scene, according to a statement of probable cause.

Artis McDaniel is being represented by a public defender, according to online court records. An attorney is not listed for Ajuan nor Avion.

All three are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.
