The State Highway Administration will begin removing a concrete barrier on the Baltimore Beltway Tuesday evening. The traffic barrier removal work is part of the widening of the Interstate 695 outer loop between south of Route 40 and Frederick Road in Catonsville.

For the next two weeks, motorists can expect single lane closures on I-695 between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. to allow crews to remove the concrete traffic barrier.
