Maryland State Police are looking for a man they say shot a car several times in a road rage incident Sunday afternoon on I-95 in Baltimore County.
The driver of the car that was shot is uninjured, state police say.
The suspected gunman was the passenger in a black Volkswagen Jetta traveling north on I-95, between Route 166 and I-695 around 4:30 p.m., according to law enforcement.
The gunman allegedly fired three shots into the victim’s gray Hyundai Elantra, shattering the driver’s side window and damaging the driver’s side door before continuing in an unknown direction, police said.
The owner of the Elantra reported the incident to state police when he returned home, police said.
State police say the Volkswagen possibly has Maryland vehicle registration that includes “9 C” on the license plate.
Anyone who has more information or who witnessed the incident can call the state police’s Golden Ring Barrack at 410-780-2700, and calls can be kept confidential.
