Police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting in the Winters Lane community of Catonsville that left a man injured, Baltimore County police said in a statement issued Monday.
Police responded to Winters Lane and Main Avenue for the report of a shooting at 9:56 a.m., to find a man who had been shot at least once, police said.
The man was transported to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to survive his injuries, police said.
There is no suspect information available, said Baltimore County Police spokesman Cpl. John Wachter.
The Baltimore County Police Department Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the incident and detectives will be working to determine if it was a targeted crime, police said.
