Police ask public for help to identify Catonsville robbery suspect

Police detectives are searching for the man shown in this image captured by video surveillance at a Royal Farms store in Catonsville.

Baltimore County Police detectives are asking the public for help in identifying the suspect who robbed a Royal Farms store on Edmondson Avenue in Catonsville on Dec. 1, they said in a statement issued Thursday.

At 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, a suspect captured by video surveillance displayed a handgun at the counter of the store and demanded cigarettes and cash, police said.

The robber fled the store with cigarettes, an undisclosed amount of money and other items he brought to the register, police said.

Police said their robbery unit is investigating the crime. Those with information are asked to call police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
