The Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce's Frederick Road Fridays Summer Concert Series continues June 28 with Appaloosa taking the stage at the Mews on Mellor Avenue, a block from the series' previous location on Egges Lane at Frederick Road.
Heavy Seas beer from the microbrewery in nearby Halethorpe and other beverages will be served by the chamber and other local civic groups and nonprofit organizations.
The Catonsville 4th of July Celebration Committee will benefit from the concession sales Friday evening.
The band, an area favorite, plays a variety of popular classic rock hits from legendary 1970's bands including the Eagles and the Rolling Stones.
The monthly summer jazz concert series at Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum begins June 29 at 6 p.m. at the museum, 300 Oella Ave.
Relax to the mellow sounds of local favorite Sterling Silver Saturday.
The series is sponsored by the Friends of Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum and Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks.
Guests are asked to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to the event.
Refreshments will be for sale at the event, or you may bring a picnic.
Gates open at 5 p.m.

On Sunday, June 30, the Catonsville United Methodist Church will host a Christian Music Festival, 4-7 p.m., at the church, 6 Melvin Ave. in Catonsville.
The free event will feature fun and games andy performances by Kelly Deaver & Glorify, Loyal to One, Skidd Grip and Adonai.
Also on Sunday, June 30, Richie Fields will perform a variety of country hits at 6 p.m. at the Lurman.
The baritone singer recently released a new album of softer ballads and up-tempo rock songs.
His songs feature a variety of real-life scenarios easily relatable to audience members.
Fans should bring chairs or blankets to the natural amphitheater on the campus of Catonsville High School, off Hilltop Road and Bloomsbury Avenue. Bench seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Food and drinks available for purchase. No alcohol, grills or pets.
