This summer's free series of Friday evening concerts sponsored by the Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce continues June 21 at the Mews on Mellor Avenue, a block from Frederick Road.
Automatic Slim and His Band will take the stage at 6:30 to perform blues, roots rock, instrumentals and originals. The five-member band plays music ranging from Ike Turner and Jimmie Vaughan to Freddy Fender, Los Lobos and Johnny Cash.
Halethorpe-based Clipper City Brewing will have beer for sale. A portion of the food and drink sales benefit Ribbons of Comfort/Ravens Roost 117.
The Frederick Road Friday's summer concert series, now in its sixth season, continues every Friday until Aug. 30.

Saturday and Sunday at Lurman
The Lurman Woodland Theatre Summer Concert Series continues Saturday, June 22, with The Gigs taking the stage.
The band is back to play a variety of original classic rock songs and songs from popular bands from the '60s, '70s, and '80s after a 35-year hiatus.
Originally formed in 1966, the band includes Stephen Adamski (vocals and lead guitar), Reed Martin (vocals, flute and sax), Kirk Dancy (keyboards and vocals) and Norbert Bertling (vocals, drums and percussion).
On Sunday, June 23, The Bayside Big Band will be back on the stage to perform '40s swing and jazz tunes.
A dance instructor teaches the crowd the cha-cha, tango, waltz, among other dances, before the 17-piece band plays music made famous by Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, the Tonight Show Orchestra and the Brian Setzer Orchestra.
The weekend shows begin at 6 p.m. in the natural amphitheater on the campus of Catonsville High School, off Hilltop Road and Bloomsbury Avenue.
Fans should bring chairs or blankets. Bench seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. No alcohol, grills or pets.
