Three armed robberies in Catonsville [Crime log]

Wilkens Avenue and Beechfield Avenue, between 11:35 a.m. and 11:37 a.m., Sept. 4. Cell phone and backpack stolen from man walking to work after two juveniles assaulted him and displayed a knife. One juvenile was arrested and the backpack was recovered.

Cherrydell Road, 100 block, between 1 a.m. and 9 a.m. Sept. 2. Generator chained to iron hand rail stolen from back porch.

South Belle Grove Road, unit block, between 12:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sept. 2. About $10,000 worth of tools and $2,000 worth of guns stolen from detached residential garage.

Orpington Road and Edmondson Avenue, between 11:05 p.m. and 11:07 p.m., Sept. 1. Purse stolen from woman sitting on the curb by man who placed an object she believed to be a handgun on the back of her neck.

Baltimore National Pike, 6400 block, 8:40 p.m. Sept. 1. Wallet and cell phone stolen from two people The Ramada Inn. Two males pushed open the door as they were attempting to leave and pointed a gun at them before taking the property.

Symington Avenue, unit block, between 8 p.m. Sept. 1,and 8 a.m. Sept. 2. Bicycle stolen from unlocked residence.

Hillview Drive, unit block, between 10 a.m. Sept. 1 and 11:20 a.m. Sept. 2. Lawn mower stolen from residence.

Cherrydell Road, 100 block, between 8 p.m. Aug. 21 and noon Sept. 2. Lawn mower stolen from yard after lock to fence gate removed.

Longview Drive, 600 block, between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., Aug. 31. Red Chevy Camaro stolen from driveway using only key to the vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered in Baltimore City.

Oella Avenue, 400 block, between noon Aug. 31 and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 1. Auger stolen from shed.

Misty Wood Way, 400 block, between 6:10 p.m. Aug. 28 and 2:10 p.m. Sept. 6. Television, cell phone and other items stolen from residence after glass side door shattered.

Barrington Road, 4300 block, between 4:45 a.m. Aug. 27 and 10 a.m. Sept. 3. Rear door to residence basement pried open. Nothing was taken.
