A double rainbow was followed by thunder and lightning on Thursday evening at Catonsville High forcing the suspension of the boys lacrosse game between the host Comets (5-8) and Winters Mill (5-7).
The senior night contest was suspended with 1:35 left in the first quarter and will be resumed on Monday, May 4 at 5 p.m. at Catonsville High.
Winters Mill led 4-3 on goals by Kevin Pixler, Tyler Drager, Logan Keller and Spencer Eysaman.
Joshua Gaske and Drager had assists.
Catonsville's scoring came from Bryan Holmes, Will Bredeck and Andrew Peabody.
Ray Rada had an assist for the Comets.
Eight Comet seniors were honored before the game.
They included Holmes, Jake Bredeck, Tommy Sadler, Connor Hurd, Thomas Garrett, Patrick Cook, Aaron Williams and Hunter Cheuvront.
