Intruder kicks in door, steals computer, jewelry [Towson Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

An intruder stole a computer and jewelry from a residence in the 6200 block of Falls Road, after kicking in a rear kitchen door to gain entry, police reports state. According to the report, the intruder entered the home between 8:30 a.m. and 1:54 p.m. ransacked several rooms stole the items and fled.


West Joppa Road, 1000 block, between 8 p.m. March 10 and 6:15 p.m. March 20. Jewelry stolen from dresser drawer.

Copper Hill Road, 1100 block, between 11 p.m. March 20 and 11 a.m. March 21. Person stole flower pots, stone pavers from yard. Flower pots found nearby.

Dalesford Road, 8100 block, between 9 p.m. March 14 and 3:30 p.m. March 16. Television, cash stolen from unlocked motor home parked in driveway.

Locust Avenue, 1400 block, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. March 18. Person attempted to steal copper down spouts.


Hogarth Circle, 100 block, between 10 p.m. March 17 and 3:30 p.m. March 18. Person entered laundry room in apartment complex, smashed four windows, damaged washing machine.


Northwood Drive, unit block, at 4:10 p.m. March 23. Three juveniles entered home through unlocked sldiing door. No damage or items taken. No charges filed.

West Joppa Road, 2300 block, between 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m. March 20. Person pried open glass door at Exxon, stole cash from safe and lottery cash register.


York Road, 2000 block, at 2 p.m. Jan. 6. Person fraudulently purchased car from Nationwide Nissan. Person refused to return and redo paperwork.
