The Baltimore County Office of Tourism and the Dundalk Historical Society said Tuesday the free Naval Academy Band concert that had been scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 17 in the Dundalk Middle School community auditorium has been canceled due to the government shutdown.

Officials said there are no plans at this time to re-schedule.

The free concert was planned as the culminating event of the Defenders Day commemoration celebrated every year in Dundalk.
