I'm sending a big thank you to all the families on the west side of N. Glenmore and N. Osborne avenues. They shared electricity, via extension cords, with families on the east side of the streets. They also shared freezer space and made trips for gasoline.
The east side of the streets were without power for almost a week.
This emergency provided a perfect example of neighbors helping neighbors.
