Catonsville residents Allan and Rosemary Snyder recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with their seven children and many friends.
They wed Sept. 9, 1961, in Blessed Sacrament Church on Old York Road in what is now the Pen Lucy neighborhood of north Baltimore.
The couple, who have 21 grandchildren, remain active. They play weekly tennis games, enjoy traveling and gather with relatives for Sunday dinners.
Their family expresses gratitude to the Snyders for the example of faith and commitment they have set for 50 years.
