Two convenience stores robbed in same hour in Towson area on June 13

North Charles Street, 6200 block, 8:26 p.m. June 13. Man entered 7-Eleven store, pressed black handgun against clerk's arm and told him to open registers. Man took cash and coins and fled.

York Road, 7200 block, 9:07 p.m. June 13. Man walked behind counter at Royal Farms store, displayed black handgun, told two clerks to hand over cash and cigarettes. Items and cash taken; man fled out rear door.

In addition to these incidents, the following items were compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.


Gelding Drive, 10300 block, between 7:40 and 7:48 p.m. June 18. Two juveniles were seen climbing a second story balcony and entering vacant apartment. Police arrested 16-year-old Cockeysville male and charged him with fourth-degree burglary.

Glenmoore Avenue, 100 block, between 11:30 and 11:50 p.m. June 16. Resident came home and was confronted by two men, who took his wallet and ran. Wallet was found, missing cash, in driveway.

Beaver Dam Road, 10100 block, between 12:17 and 1 a.m. June 16. Some 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel stolen from storage tank Cinder and Concrete Block. Man on bicycle, accompanied by dual-wheeled truck and smaller vehicle, entered yard and disabled camera.

Hogarth Circle, Breezy Hill Court, Misty Lynn Circle, Barretts Delight Drive, Windy Cliff Place and Lake Ridge Place, various times between June 12 and 16. Coins stolen from washing machines in laundry rooms at 11 apartment complexes in Cockeysville.


York Road, 2000 block, between 11:30 and 11:47 p.m. June 12. Two putters and three drivers stolen from Baltimore Washington Golf. Rock thrown through glass on door.


Lake Avenue, 1200 block, between 12:55 and 1:05 p.m. June 13. Two men seen prying open rear window screen and entering residence. Police arrived, suspects fled, no property taken. Inside ransacked. Television, laptop and jar of coins moved to front door.

Willow Avenue, unit block, between 3 and 3:30 p.m. June 13. Camera, Xbox, Xbox Kinect, Nintendo DS Lite, two backpacks, hard drives and battery chargers stolen. Multiple windows damaged.

Joan Avenue, 1700 block, between 4 p.m. June 14 and 3:30 p.m. June 15. Screen damaged on rear kitchen window. Nothing stolen.
