Hereford boys win Junior C lacrosse title

The Hereford boys Junior C squad used a strong first half to subdue Lutherville-Timonium, 7-4, in the Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association championship game.

Led by Jack Peterson (2 goals), Jack Churchill (1 goal, 1 assist), Peter Schwab (1 and 1) , Tommy Sistek (1 and 1), Matt Callahan (1 and 1), Max Triffillis (1 goal) and Connor Schatall (1 assist) on offense and Aaron Geschwilm, Tyler Graybill and Tripp Nash playing in front of goalie

Brice Hardesty (9 saves) on the defensive end of the field, Hereford produced a 5-0 first-half advantage and held on for the victory.

Ryley Zeigler led the team in groundballs again for head coach Larry Nash and assistants Matt Taylor, Lance Trifillis and Jack Boggs.
