Police in Baltimore County are looking for the men responsible for robberies at two PNC Bank branches, one Saturday in a supermarket and another last month at an assisted-living facility for the elderly.
In the most recent incident, a man used a note to hold up a PNC branch in a Giant Food market on Loch Raven Boulevard in Towson. The man's face was captured by surveillance cameras shortly before 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
A statement issued Monday by Baltimore County police said the man entered the store and passed a note to a bank teller in which he announced that he was committing a robbery. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled. Despite a search of the area, police said, the robber was not found.
He was described as black, between 25 and 35 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches in height and weighing between 150 and 175 pounds. The man has tattoos on his right forearm and wore an Orioles cap. In one of the images, he appears to be smiling.
Baltimore County police are also asking for the public's help in identifying two men who robbed the PNC Bank in Broadmead, a senior housing facility, at 13801 York Road in Cockeysville on May 19.
On that day, about 2:15 p.m., two men jumped over the bank's counter and "pushed a teller down," a police statement said. The men removed an undisclosed amount of money from the teller's drawer and fled through a rear door, according to the statement.
