A 15-year-old boy is being charged as an adult in a home invasion in Lochearn Thursday afternoon that closed a section of Liberty Road temporarily, Baltimore County police said Friday.
Deondre M. Pedersen of the unit block of Neptune Court in Parkville faces attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery and related charges.
Police said a resident in the 6500 block of Liberty Road flagged down a county police officer just before 5 p.m. Thursday, after three suspects armed with a handgun forced their way into his house. Police said the man fought off the suspects and escaped. When officers arrived at the house, the suspects had fled, but police managed to track down Pedersen.
Pedersen is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $500,000 bail. Anyone with information is asked to call 410-307-2020.
