Baltimore County will close the Dairy Road Bridge east of I-83 in Parkton on Monday for about 10 weeks, while crews complete $475,000 in repairs. The work includes the replacement of the two-lane bridge's deteriorating concrete deck. The bridge, built in 1920, spans Owl Branch and handles only minimal local traffic, officials said. When it reopens, about May 1, it will be about six feet longer and about a foot wider. The existing abutments will be modified slightly to accommodate a wider deck.
