Baltimore County police were investigating the fatal shooting of a man Friday morning in Essex.

Police received an anonymous call from someone who reported they had seen two people standing at the corner of Bayner and Sandalwood roads and two shots were fired.

Officers dispatched to the scene found one person with gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he died.

Homicide detectives had no suspects and have yet to determine a motive, according to police.
