Two arrested, charged in Towson home invasion

Baltimore County Police have arrested two people and have issued warrants for two others after a home invasion in Towson last week, police said Monday.

Daniel Paul Schaefer, 20, of the first block of Acorn Circle in Towson and Dylan Maurice Fredricksen, 17, of the 1400 block of Wiltwyck Road in Mount Washington were arrested Friday and are in custody at the Baltimore County Detention Center , said Lt. Robert McCullough, a county police spokesman. Fredericksen has been charged as an adult.

Victims reported to police that a group of men wearing red bandanas and armed with a handgun and knives forced their way into a home in the 200 block of Burke Avenue on April 20.

The intruders assaulted the victims and stole two laptops, an MP3 player, a PlayStation 3, several DVDs and cash, police said. Police recovered the gun and some of the stolen items, but not the laptops or the cash, McCullough said.

Police also are searching for Troy Neal Traylor, 20, of the 200 block of Susquehanna Avenue in Towson. Police say he is 5'8" tall, with red hair, blue eyes and a tattoo of a star on the left side of his neck. Police have not released the identity of the fourth suspect.
