A 41-year-old former employee of the Baltimore Museum of Industry was sent to prison Wednesday for five years after pleading guilty to sexually soliciting a person he believed to be a 13-year-old girl.

In November 2008, Joshua Henkin, a Dundalk resident, contacted an undercover Baltimore County detective who was posing as a girl in an Internet chat room. Some months later, Henkin sent graphic messages to the girl, prosecutors said, and arranged to meet her "for the purpose of engaging in sexual conduct and taking photographs." Henkin was arrested at a fast-food restaurant where the meeting was to have taken place. He was carrying condoms and a digital camera, prosecutors said.

Baltimore County Circuit Judge Timothy J. Martin sentenced Henkin to 10 years in prison with all but five suspended. Henkin will be on probation for three years after his release and must register as a sex offender.
