Police seek 2 in Balto. Co. commercial burglaries

Baltimore Sun

Police in Baltimore County are investigating a rash of commercial burglaries last month and are looking for two men they believe are responsible.

The two unidentified suspects are wanted for questioning in connection with the burglaries and the theft of several box trucks in the county and city. Images recorded on videotape at a convenience store show one of the men to be white, 25 to 35 years old, with short hair, and a light beard or goatee. The other is black, around the same age, with a dark-colored mustache and beard.

The burglaries occurred at night. Police said the thieves broke windows and glass doors, and once inside took cigarettes and cash. Investigators believe that the stolen box trucks were used in the burglaries.

The burglarized businesses were Liberty Wine and Spirits, in the 8700 block of Liberty Road, on either Dec. 6 or Dec. 7; Charlie's Service Station, in the 11000 block of Liberty Road, on Dec. 14; Town and Country Liquor Shoppe, in the 9600 block of Reisterstown Road, on Dec. 14; Boulevard Fine Wine and Spirits, in the 10900 block of Owings Mills Blvd., on Dec. 17; and Santoni's Market Place, in the 4800 block of Butler Road, on Dec. 17.

Anyone with information is asked to call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587. Metro Crime Stoppers callers may remain anonymous and might be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
