Balto. County police seek man in Pikesville bank robbery

Baltimore County police were looking for a man who held up a bank last week in Pikesville. The man robbed the SunTrust Bank at 103 Reisterstown Road shortly after it opened for business Dec. 23, the Police Department said. The suspect was described as black, between 25 and 32 years old and no taller than 5 feet, 10 inches. He was wearing a dark coat over a gray hooded sweat shirt and a dark knit hat. Detectives said he entered the bank, walked up to a teller, implied that he was armed and demanded money. The teller gave the man some cash and he left. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 866-756-2587. Those contacting Metro Crime Stoppers may choose to remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
