Baltimore County Police have charged a suspect in connection with a shooting Sunday night in Owings Mills that left a man dead.
Police responded to a house in the unit block of Haines Court just before 9:30 p.m. for a report of shooting and found 24-year-old Carlos Alberto Perez Roque with a single gunshot wound to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe Roque and Ramon Antoni B. Constanza, 31, also of Haines Court, were inside the home and became involved in a struggle over a handgun. During the struggle, Roque was shot.
Police said Constanza has been charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. No attorney for Constanza was listed on online court records.
This incident remains under investigation.
