Baltimore County Police on Friday said they investigated a "possible barricade" at a dwelling on the 9700 block of Bon Haven Lane in Owings Mills but, after searching the home, found nothing inside.
Police spokesman Cpl. John Wachter confirmed the report and said a call had come in at about 11:50 a.m.
But at around 1:15 p.m., Wachter said authorities found nothing and had begun to clear the scene.
Baltimore County Schools spokesman Mychael Dickerson said he had not been contacted about the possible barricade, and said county schools had not been affected.
