A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash in Lansdowne Thursday night, police said.
The victim was not identified. The crash happened at about 9 p.m. on the southbound Interstate 895 exit ramp to Interstate 295, Maryland Transportation Authority police said.
Traffic was stopped as a medevac helicopter responded to air-lift the motorcyclist to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, police said.
No information on the cause or the circumstances of the crash was available Thursday night.
