A valuable Powerball ticket was sold at a Food Lion in Essex prior to Saturday's drawing, Maryland Lottery officials said Sunday.
The second-tier winner is valued at $1 Million and was sold at the Food Lion at 1565 Hyde Park Road in Baltimore County, Maryland Lottery officials said. The owner of the ticket had not cashed in their prize as of Sunday morning.
Nobody won the grand prize in Saturday's drawing. Winning numbers were: 02, 09, 19, 28, 29 and the Powerball was 19.
To win the jackpot, players must land all five numbers plus the Powerball. The ticket sold in Essex had five numbers, but not the Powerball.
Wednesday's jackpot is valued at $176 million, lottery officials said. The cash option is $117.3 million.
