Essex man wanted on child sexual abuse charges flees from police

Baltimore County Police are searching for an Essex man who struck two police vehicles when detectives attempted to arrest him at his home for child sexual abuse charges Thursday.

Police said Foster Dove III, 38, of the 1600 block of Williams Avenue, saw the detectives walk up to his house when he ran to his car and struck two police vehicles. His car was recovered nearby but Dove had fled on foot.

He is wanted for sexually abusing two children and producing pornography depicting the abuse.

Dove 6-feet tall, 220 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. He is known to frequent the Essex area, Carroll County, and Berks County, Pennsylvania, police said. .=

Anyone with information about Dove's whereabouts is asked to call police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587.
