Man fatally stabbed in Windsor Mill Popeyes parking lot, police say

A man was fatally stabbed in a Popeyes restaurant parking lot in Windsor Mill, and another man was shot in Middle River Sunday, Baltimore County police said.

The stabbing victim was identified on Monday as Reuben Cole Haskins, 24, of 8300 block of Merryview Drive in Milford Mill. Police said he had gotten into an altercation with the suspect when he was stabbed.

Officers were called at 2:40 p.m. to the 1800 block of North Rolling Road where they found the victim suffering from at least one stab wound. He was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he died.

Police have not identified the suspect. Homicide detectives are investigating.

At 7:57 p.m. Sunday night, police were called to the unit block of Shon Court, where they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

Police said answered a knock at his front door when the suspect shot him at least once in the upper body. The shooter then fled the scene. The department's violent crimes unit is investigating.
