Baltimore County police are looking for a 25-year-old man in connection with a July non-fatal shooting on Liberty Road in Randallstown.
Police said Joey High shot another man at 1:21 p.m. on July 22 at Liberty Road, near Chapman Road. The victim, who police did not identify, walked into Northwest Hospital with a non life-threatening injury, said police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathy Batton.
High was indicted in Baltimore County on an attempted first degree murder charge in 2005 but was later dropped, online court records show. He was found guilty in the same incident of first degree assault, receiving a 10-year sentence with all but 2 years suspended.
He faced additional drug-related charges several times in the city but they charges were dropped, including in 2010 when he was charged with possession with intent to distribute.
In the July shooting, detectives said the suspect and the victim had several previous arguments, Batton said.
