A man was killed and a woman was injured in a head-on crash on Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills Monday afternoon, Baltimore County police said.
Police identified the victim on Tuesday as Ramraj Krishnan, 39, of the Unit block of Pomona West in Pikesville.
Police said Krishnan was driving northbound at about 2:09 p.m. near Pleasant Hill Road when his black Nissan Altima crossed the center line and struck a silver Chevrolet Impala coming in the opposite direction.
Krishnan was declared dead at the scene, and the woman driving the Impala was taken to the Trauma Center at Sinai Hospital, police said. Her condition was not known Tuesday.
Reisterstown Road, between Gwynnbrook Avenue and Enchanted Hills Road in Owings Mills, was closed temporarily Monday afternoon as the crash was investigated, police said.
