A woman badly injured after being struck by a car in Dundalk on Monday night has died from her injuries, Baltimore County police said on Tuesday.
Police said that Shattina Santos, 31, of Reisterstown was crossing Eastern Avenue against a red signal light, where she was struck by a 1994 Subaru Forester traveling eastbound on Eastern Avenue. Santos was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center with serious injuries.
The driver of the Forester, a 75-year old Essex woman, stopped and remained at the scene, police said.
Santos was not in a crosswalk and no citations have been issued, said police, who added that the crash remains under investigation.
