Two construction workers were injured Friday when a house in Owings Mills collapsed, Baltimore County fire officials say.
Emergency crews were called to the home, which was being renovated, in the 100 block of Oakmere Road about 3:50 p.m., said Lt. Paul Massarelli, a spokesman for the fire department.
The men were in the beams of the roof when the building collapsed, Massarelli said. They became pinned under the roof, and were freed by emergency workers.
They were flown to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, Massarelli said. He did not know their conditions.
The Maryland Occupational Safety and Health program will investigate the collapse, he said.
