Motorcyclist struck, killed in White Marsh accident

A motorcyclist died early Sunday after he was struck by a car in White Marsh, county police said.

An automobile hit the motorcyclist at the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Ebenezer Road shortly after 2:30 a.m., according to Baltimore County police spokesman Lt. Rob McCullough. The victim, who was in his early 20s, was pronounced dead at about 3 a.m. at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. The two occupants of the car were also taken to Bayview, and are expected to recover from their injuries, McCullough said. The victim's identity has not been released, pending notification of next of kin. The details and circumstances surrounding the accident are still under investigation, McCullough said, and no further details were available.
