Two people were killed in a collision between a car and a dump truck in Hunt Valley on Monday night, Baltimore County police said.
Charles William Matthews, 20, of Reisterstown and Hannah Paige Potis, 19, of Lutherville-Timonium were identified by police as the victims.
Matthews was driving a 1998 Acura CL south in the 11000 block of McCormick Road, when the car veered over the center line and hit a 2001 Western Star dump truck head-on, police said.
Matthews and Potis, who was in the passenger seat, were pronounced dead at the scene when police were called at 9:40 p.m., police said.
The driver of the dump truck was uninjured.
McCormick Road was closed between Wight Avenue and Beaver Dam Road while emergency crews responded Monday night.
