The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of an Essex man Friday night.
Police said Zeshaan Ali Toppa, 21, of the 300 block of Leeanne Road, was found with a gunshot wound in his upper body Friday at about 10 p.m. in the rear of the 500 block of Welbrook Road near Stemmers Run Middle School. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
