5 arrested in Lutherville-Timonium home invasion

Baltimore County police said Wednesday they have charged five suspects in connection with a home-invasion that occurred Sunday in Lutherville-Timonium.

Emergency responders were called to the home on the first block of Belfast Road at 2:59 a.m. for a report of a shooting. Police say five suspects entered the home through a basement door, and one was armed with a handgun. The victim struggled with the gunman, who shot him once in the upper body. The suspects then fled. The victim drove himself to the hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
