Fire officials said in a statement that the home was "extremely cluttered." The victim, believed to be in her 70s, was found dead on the third floor. Her body has been taken to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy. She was not immediately identified by fire officials.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation but officials said they do not believe criminal activity was involved. About 23 pieces of equipment responded and most cleared the scene around 3:30 a.m.
