Baltimore County firefighters battled a fire at a vacant home in Chase early Tuesday morning.
No one was injured in the blaze that broke out shortly before 5:30 a.m. in the 6800 block of Leslie Road, a fire department spokesman said.
Units remained on scene more than an hour later. Spokesman Lt. Paul Massarelli said crews had "some issues" getting water to the home, which is in a more remote community that backs up to the Bird River.
The fire was contained to the home. The cause and origin of the fire remains under investigation.
