A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Sunday morning on East Seminary Avenue, according to Baltimore County Police.

Officers responded to the crash at about 9:20 a.m. Sunday on the intersection of East Seminary Avenue and Dulaney Valley Road, an intersection in between Timonium and Hampton. There, Mary Beth Green and another pedestrian were crossing the road when Green was struck by a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 traveling east, police say.

Green, 57, was taken to a hospital, where she died. The driver of the Ram remained on the scene, police said. The other pedestrian was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, though police would not say how that person was injured.

The county police department’s crash team is investigating the collision, including how the second person was injured, according to police Sgt. Gladys Brown, a spokesperson.
