Baltimore County police pulled over a speeding car in Essex Monday night to find a man who had been shot in the abdomen bleeding in the passenger seat, officials said.
Both the passenger and driver, who had a possibly broken arm, in the Acura sedan were taken to a hospital from the traffic stop at about 8:25 p.m. near Eastern Boulevard and Mace Avenue, police said. Both men are expected to recover from their injuries, police said.
Police don't know where the shooting happened, and no details on a suspect or a motive were provided Monday night. The county's violent crimes section is investigating, and anyone with information may call 410-307-2020.
