A woman was stabbed by her son inside her Dundalk home early Tuesday, Baltimore County police said.
Police said Brandon Matthew Yeager stabbed his mother multiple times in the upper body, inside her home in the 7200 block of Dunglen Court, where he had been staying with her.
Police were called to the home at 5:40 a.m. Yeager's mother suffered traumatic injuries to her upper body and was taken to an area hospital. Police said she is expected to survive.
Yeager was also taken to a hospital for a cut to his hand, police said. He has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault. He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
The county's violent crimes unit is investigating.
