Two people died after a fiery car crash early Saturday morning on Interstate 83 in Timonium, Maryland State Police said.
Troopers responded about 2:40 a.m. for a report of a vehicle fire in the area of I-83 northbound before Padonia Road. The Baltimore County Fire Department advised there was a car fully engulfed in fire at the scene, according to a news release.
A white 2015 Kia Optima appeared to have veered off the road to the right shoulder and struck a truck trailer, police said.
Two people in the Optima died. Their identities are pending notification of next of kin. The driver of the truck was uninjured, according to police.
