Five pedestrians injured during two-car crash in Lochearn

Five teenage pedestrians were injured when a car drove off the road after striking another vehicle Thursday night in Lochearn, Baltimore County police said.

Police said a 2003 Honda Accord, driven by an 18-year-old man, struck a 2009 Accord, driven by a 23-year-old woman, when it crossed Windsor Mill Road from Royal Court Drive about 10 p.m. When the cars collided, police said the 2003 Honda left the road and struck the teens.

All five pedestrians, plus the 23-year-female driver of the second car and a 7-month-old boy also in that vehicle, were taken local hospitals for non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the 2003 Honda was not taken to a hospital.

Police said no charges have been filed.
