One person has been transported to Maryland Shock Trauma Center after a tree fell into a small barn, causing it to collapse, Baltimore County emergency officials said Sunday.

The collapse occurred in the 7600 block of Bradshaw Road in the Kingsville area of Baltimore County Sunday afternoon. The collapse left one person with non-life-threatening injuries, Baltimore County Fire Lt. John Milby said.

Fire officials said they suspect that gusty winds brought the tree down, with the ground softened from Saturday's rain. Wind gusts were approaching 30 mph in Baltimore early Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

No further information was available around 1 p.m. Sunday.
